Music Makers has been at Houghton Village Hall for over 10 years providing music, singing and dancing for babies from 6 months old until they go to school.
The 45 minute sessions explore all areas of child development from language and speech, movement, coordination, imagination, creativity, physical and mental well being, all whilst having fun in the wonderful world of music. Each session is delivered by Music Makers director, Helen Teasdale, with live vocals to professionally produced backing tracks, encouraging lots of singing from both child and parent, grandparent or carer. After the music making ends, there are refreshments for all and a playtime to make new friends.
