The SOLWAY AMATEUR RADIO GROUP is open to ALL Licensed Radio Amateurs, Short Wave Listeners etc, we meet monthly here at Houghton Village Hall, CA3 0NF
If you are interested in Amateur Radio why not join us, our base City is Carlisle in the English Lake District nine miles from the Scottish Border, a new group started October 2018 and now with 87 members some of whom are miles away but are still members of our group, whilst most of our monthly meetings are held on the lastTuesday of the month from 7.30-9.30 pm. At each meeting we have a "Bring and Buy Table for New/Used Amateur Radio equipment along with coffee/tea and a good chat.
SOLWAY AMATEUR RADIO GROUP do intent to hold classes for the Radio Amateurs Foundation Licence during winter 2019/20.
